Water droplets

These are some pictures I took at home.  I used a wine glass, water and red food dye to create a wine type looking beverage.  I chose red because I thought it looked the coolest. I used a fast shutter speed to capture the water dripping as best I can!

Light meter

This is a picture of Madison.  This picture was taken in day light, therefore we used a reflector, but the less bright side of it, to not give off too much of a bright reflection. This was a convenient spot for taking pictures as the tree located behind Madison allowed for us to capture pictures without having the sun ruin the images.

Painting with light

This is an image of painting with light.  In this photo, you see me holding a balloon in my hand and a yellow light around my figure.  We used a very slow shutter speed to capture the image.  We've tried a lot of things and took numerous amount of images with different patterns and shapes around the group members but I especially like this picture because I like how the outlining looks as well as the balloon that was drawn with light! It's interesting!

Self-portrait

I chose this picture for my self-portrait.  I used photoshop to convert the picture to gray scale.  It gives subtlety to the image and doesn't allow for any 'distractions'.  I feel my exterior is black and white and what's on the inside is full of color, so I chose to demonstrate this by using a black and white photograph.

Panorama kitchen

This is a picture of the kitchen at 180 degrees.

Kodachrome Rap/project

Lyrics:
Kodachrome is a film invented in 1935.
It used still photography and cinematography as its drive.
But it's processing requirements were very complex,
So we say goodbye to its use of capturing our subjects.

The rap was a good experience, it was really fun! Creating the video was as well.
